Enter your zip code to find closest flight schools. If you live in a rural area, be prepared to drive for a couple of hours to the nearest school. Establish a good rapport with people, especially instructors there. Instill in them the confidence that they can communicate with you, especially while flying the plane (to you paranoid hearing guys, come on, gimme a break, it only takes a couple of seconds to glance at the sheet, beside the control is swapped whenever the attention is diverted).

For those who think it's not our obligation to pay "a bit more" for their time "to communicate with us", fyi, flight school charge by hour, especially when the engine is running so it's only fair to pay whatever time you are using their service.

Hey, great vlogs! I agree it's about time one of us explained how the process works.

Only one thing I would add - try and take care of all the communications with the Instructor BEFORE and AFTER getting in the plane (aka pre- and post-flight briefings).

Not only will this save you LOTS of money, but it's safer too because it frees up more time to keep those eyes looking outside.
