Christopher Wilke is on the faculty as an adjunct professor of guitar at Northern Kentucky University, Xavier University and the College of Mount Saint Joseph in Cincinnati, OH. He has served on the faculty and performed at the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music's (ccm) Summer Guitar Workshop. Other recent performances include the CCM's music í02 and í03 contemporary music festivals, the Grandin Festival, the opera theatre and music festival of Lucca (Italy), and the College Music Societyís 2004 Mid-Atlantic Conference where he premiered works of Mark Zanter. He is the recipient of the Oscar Ghiglia Award as well as several awards from the Composerís Guild.
Mr. Wilke is a composer in addition to his activities as a performer. His chamber and solo works have recently been performed at CCM's music í02 festival and at Northern Kentucky University. His orchestral works have been premiered by the Clermont (OH) Orchestra and the hamilton-fairfield symphony orchestra.
Mr. Wilke is also a devotee of early music and performs on lute and theorbo. He is also a choir director at old St. Maryís Church in Cincinnati, an institution renowned for the use of plainchant and polyphony in its worship services. He received his masterís degree from the University of Cincinnatiís College Conservatory of Music where he worked as graduate assistant to clare callahan. He has performed in masterclasses for Oscar Ghiglia, the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Antigoni Goni, and Martha Masters among others.

I LOVE THIS VIDEO...it is so different than most everything else I have found here! You guys did an awesome job! As I find with most music I REALLY like, the first time I listen to it, I hate it. I then want to know why I hate it and go back and listen to it again and fall in love...nice job!
