Here it is at last! Finally finished my Wrath of Khan redo of the vfx from the first meeting of Kirk and Khan. All the assets in the scene, models and such, were made by me. Actually, the models are a couple of years old already, I just finally did something with them.

  • I would pay to see this.

  • Dude......EPIC CGI WIN!!

  • Someone popular should favorite this so it gets the recognition it deserves.

  • EXCELLENT work, studio-quality cgi... Paramount ought to hire you!

  • Damn fine CGI!

TWOK was, hands down, the best Trek Movie ever. Mazel tov!

  • This is my favourite scene in The Wrath of Khan.

  • Great work, especially on the initial phaser bursts. Those are hard to do correctly.

  • Holy Crap! You even recreated the grain, twinkling stars and blue hue (remnants of the Bluescreen?) from the Original Shots! This is totally comparable to the CGI-Shots made for the TMP-Directors Cut.

  • Dude, again, seriously? Did you really render that stuff? If so, I, frankly, have no idea why they used whoever the hell they used to re-release this movie.

  • Excellent computer graphics though I've often wondered about that saucer section connection if it were hit just right enough with a direct hit would split off I think it's the weakest part of the ship (scifi-show be an excuse of course Star Trek era to keep it though I guess) Khan's obsession with Kirk led to his downfall. I would have simply got kirk at a later time Star Fleet was bound to notice the Reliant had gone missing prior to kirks involvement. What software used Lightwave 3D?
