  • Excellent videos.

Thanks to Alain de Boton for explaning the concept of Status Anxiety so clearly.

For many of us, social phobia has its main cause on status anxiety. Thanks again.

  • I'm really glad you enjoyed it, some of his insights can really be life-changing if taken to heart. I'll be posting the other two parts of this series soon.

  • "Jesus became poor so we can be rich on earth"

Oh really thats why there's 5 billion people starving across the world and poverty / war bound.

Religion is a crock of shit

  • @Hupiacoaybay God bless the lower class, atheist immigrant!!!

  • Y'all know that Alan de Botton comes from a very rich family and has inherited millions of pounds?

  • This american minister is an Asshole. I dont like any religion, never have. But this minister from the US makes himself look Stupid, Ignorant and his own community. Also, paints christianity in a even worse light. As if GOD, this imaginary supreme being would ever even think of such earthly mortal stupid things such as wealth and money.

  • The narrator is the son of the founder of a Swiss Bank, UBS. So, he is pretty comfortable to say the least. Which, makes this effort to tell us that Riches are not everything quite interesting. I personally am not looking for riches as a goal; I want to do what I think is creatively rewarding and have money as a nice side-effect.

  • And Jesus said: "make money, get a big house, a big car, exploit people, kill children in wartime because war is profitable, support capitalistic pigs or live under Marxist propaganda..." Jesus rejected the American dream and adopted the truth - love is the Almighty.

"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces."

    Amen..you fools!

  • That pastor cannot possibly believe what he says. His premise fell apart with 2 questions from Alain. His head couldn't be that far up his behind.

  • didn't Jesus say something like it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to go to heaven. Something like that and yet that pastor is taking about Jesus wanting you to be rich??
