This isn't a comparison of CryEngine2 vs Bravia's "graphics"... Bravia is a TV for crying out loud, not a game engine... This is showing a recreation of the Bravia TV commercial USING CryEngine2, which is pretty impressive especially if it can run in real time.

That isn´t true. The polycount on most objects in Crysis 1 wasn´t higher than in Crysis 2 or let me say the same level. You should proof that in the Sandbox Editor.
If you take the head of the Statue of Liberty in the Sandbox 3 editor, you also see relatively high poly models.
