@scottwork1 Maybe it's just me, but Verbeurens playing mainly consists of simple blast beats played at great speed.. That style has nothing to do with this really, so it's kinda hard to judge by that, since we haven't really heard Verbeuren play this style(probably because he doesn't do it quite as good as this).. He is a master of death metal though.

Zappa may well have wrote the black page drum score to test terry bozo's ability but if he gave it to dirk verbeuren , dirk would say "well that's my cock busy so what do ya want me to do with my hands"

@jonesthecat00 Yeah, but most songs aren't actually composed by him. When he attempts to play jazz, I only hear complex time signatures, but nothing that sounds actually good. Complex doesn't surprise me if I'm not going to actually enjoy the music as music; he makes music math: not cool.

@AlexLococo wow!! terry bozzio a machine? what a strange machine you know! he simply..plays..with FZ, with vai, with uk, with his wife, with wackerman..a fantastic musician..please, read his curriculum..one of the 3 drummer able to play the black page..strong..powerful..sharp.­.he does play with heart, but his one beats on a 19/36 score..not "boo-boom" :-)

@HevvyMettlRokkr He also cites Lars Ulrich as one of his influences, and we know Lars sucks. Now on the more serious side, Terry is better drummer, but Mike is better musician. That is said because Terry can do things no human can, but done without feelings, like a machine.

@spillage66 I thought it was a mistake too but I actually really liked the way it sounded... almost as if he was swinging it or something. Seemed to me like a great idea that was formed by a little mistake.
