What happened to the high note! Screaming is not singing and certainly not Bel Canto which this aria requires.

I also heard her as Kundry and was highly impressed.This is the dramatic soprano who is soarly needed and I am elated to hear her as Aida next season at the Met.Thank you so much for posting this!!

I have seen her as "Kundry" in Wagner's Parsifal. But there she was still a Mezzo Soprano- and she sounded wonderful. I agree with @ Pawobrat, that there is a resemblance to R. Tebaldi! Thank you for sharing!

I will always cherish the recordings of Ponselle (1925 in particular), Milanov, Callas, and Tebaldi in this aria. They are gone now. Today, we have this great artist. Magnificent voice and exemplary interpretation. Brava!!
