@tvboy61 Ah I figured it was reference to that more than likely. With this new format i couldn't see on your profile if you were from home or not. :D

@gracelilian95 they are adorable but they have two layers of fur that are practically water repelient so if you get one and try to give it a bath make sure you have a full day lol. my grandma had one and it would take almost two hours to get it completely wet, and rinsing the soap out of that fluffyness take even longer, but it is so worth it cause their fur like poofs up even more after bath time and it is SO cute!!

awww the floor is slippery, bless his heart lol. He is a HANDSOME little guy. Congrats
How did you come to name him Beaumont? Not sure if it's coincidence or not but Beaumont Hammel In World War I was a very important part of Newfoundland history.

@NovaScotiaNewfie He was named in reference to Beaumont Hamel. A friend's father served as an officer with the Newfoundland Regiment that fought there in WWI (my friend was a WWII vet). The unit had a Newfoundland dog as the regiment's mascot (Sable Chief). When I told the breeder of my intended name (and its history) she was so pleased that she registered Beaumont with the name.
