Percy Stanbury is a Great Bassist since 1988, Composer, Arranger, Teacher & Clinician,

Since 2005, Represent the Yamaha Basses in Peru.

Influenced by the great jazz bass master John Patitucci in Finger Picking and Soloing, Stuar Hamm in Slap, and Chick Corea in Jazz Fusion Composition.

As a musician/performer, Percy has played with his own band, and with Peruvian & International luminaries, such as: Efrain Toro (Puerto Rico:One of the best Drummers in the World, He Played With Stan Getz, George Benson, Lee Ritenoir, Placido Domingo, Chicago, Al Jarreau and many others), Walfredo Reyes Jr.(Drummer of Steve Winwood, Ex Drummer of Cristina Aguilera, Santana, Ricky Martín, Gloria Stefan etc.),José Luis Madueño, Pilar de la Hoz, Elsa Maria Elejalde, Peter Fraize(Director of Jazz Studies-Univ George Washington-USA), Cecilia Noel(L.A. Funk & Latin Singer and Composer),Malena Calisto, Los York´s, Light Jazz Quartet, Rafo Raez, Gerardo Manuel, Irma Málaga(U.S.A.
