The Secret of Chateau de Moreau Chapter 3 - Gameplay

The Secret of Chateau de Moreau is a point and click mystery game on the Apple App Store. It costs a whopping $4.99 but is extremely entertaining. People who own the Nintendo DS may recognize some heavy influences from games such as Hotel Dusk and Phoenix Wright. Those who enjoyed either of those titles should pick this game up immediately, as the polish, the depth and the amount of content is truly impressive.

sooooooo im in chapter 5. Thought i solved all of the basement puzzles. I have 4 gold coins and a lantern that i no idea what its for. thought i only needed 4 coins to activated the slot but apparently i was wrong. lol any help would be greatly appreciated.

@DarkMinitzu You need 5. Just prowl around the basement a bit more, there is one other one in there and they don't hide them or anything.

it doesn't matter whether u do the right or the left first. u should count from the top to the bottom first and then count from the left to the right, that will be easier.If u do it right the wall will appear the letter M on the left and Z on the right.

Oh, by the way, what did you use to record your iPhone/iTouch screen? Because the frame rate looks pretty good.

@ElhazThorn I'm using an AV cable and a TV capture card. That said I'm not happy about how the audio turned out, trying to figure out what to do with that since it should theoretically be perfectly crisp.

i just got an "accidental death" ending, got so pissed (because i havent saved for a long time), i deleted the app

@HeartlessKiller96 the ending resulted from special items when inserted to the big hand statue. It seems people are getting different endings

Do i have to put all black chess at one side and all whie chess at the other side to make them balance in chapter 5? I am so stuck on this chess game!!! Help me!!

I am totally stuck in the chess game after i entered the chess room in Chapter 5! I spent a lot of time but still can't figure out the solution of balancing the white and black chess!!!! Anyone can help??

@metoolazy I've got all the special items and inserted in the basement which has the big hand. The big hand will later then emit a blue light to ceiling and a new path will be opened. However, I can only get the ending of marriage between Leah and Antoine. I've heard others got different ending. Can you please tell me how I can get the remaining possible ending?
