Make sure you seperate the yolks from the whites of the eggs because you want the yolks, not the egg whites. To do this, you crack an egg while it is in your hand and then turn it over so it stands straight up and then remove the top shell and hold it in your other hand. With the hand thats holding the yolk and whites pour a little of the whites out, then put the yolk in the other shell. Repeat until you have the eggs done like that.

This a terrible video. How many eggs, how much sugar, yes never throw the vanilla bean away then use it again. You never showed pouring the custard in the ramekins and baking it. For how long? You need to do this video over. At this rate you will never make the Food Chanel. LOL

This recipe tastes great, but i can't ever get the broiling right. I now use a flambe kit from dessertsnowdotcom & it comes out perfect every time. No torching & great aromas
