@mangoPuppy1 I basically agree with you otherwise, although JennLonhon was correct (sort of, lol...I've never heard of a breaded Poodle!) The breed wasn't "created to amuse people," regardless of how often they may do just that. They *were* originally bred as hunting/water dogs.

@mangoPuppy1 Poodles were actually breaded as hunting dogs....

@mangoPuppy1 poodles were originally bred in germany as water retrievers.

ITS NOT CRULE!
Its like dyeing your hair.
And dose the dog looks like he cares? No.
-
of course the dog is good enough as he is and i would never dye the hair of my sweeties but some people are just weird and want to have a 'special' dog.
-
I don't know about cruel, but I do wonder why. The dog probably does not hardly know he is blue.. as long as he has food.

Actually dogs are not color blind. They just can't see red and green. But blue and yellow they can see and I agree with sakurabloom123, it's mean and abusive to dye his hair! Is he not good enough as he is?!
Isn't it weird to talk about what's "natural" for a poodle? After all, humans spent hundreds of years using selective breeding to turn wolves into poodles. The poodle was basically created to amuse people (you don't see many tiny "apricot" animals in the wild). As long as the dye was pet-safe, I think it's great!

It doesn't hurt them to dye them as long as you use safe products. You can plainly see that is a healthy and happy Poodle. Cute vid.
