Howard Hughes should be remembered as an adventurer, an innovator, someone who had a great vision for the future and has left a great legacy. It's a genius.

After reading the 600+ page biography of his life I have a better understanding of Hughes. He really didn't get much done. He did manage to spend most of his father's money plus a lot of taxpayer money during his life. An amazing and very sad story to read.

Hughes the master manipulator. The Senate sub committee absolutely underestimated him, then got eaten alive, and spat out, by a completely unintimidated Hughes.
