@napoleondadon use a jack to jack cable from the line out/monitering output from the zoom into the mic socket in the camera

@JMousProductions Excellent video. Do you think that the mic could be about 6 feet (max) away from me if I were talking? Would it pick up my voice well without picking up much background noise (I'd be doing it outside). Thanks!

We just got our Zoom H1 and will be using it with a Canon 7D... Great test video. I would greatly appreciate any tips you've discovered that you feel I should know before we begin our tests. Thanks again!

Perfect... just what I was hoping to find on YouTube. And it sounds amazing. You chose a good song too, as it's quiet and loud at times. It's not distorting during the loud parts, and the quiet parts are very easy to hear. Great video.
