a piston charger is charging one or more working cylinders
and simultaneously regulating the inlet and outlet aperture
leading to no loss of air and fuel in the exhaust.in the main
cylinder combustion takes place every turn, lubrication like a
four stroke,compact,high torque,power,less fuel consumpt.

  • ahh h so its out of time and its got a blown headgasket, cool just like my dumb friends old chevy... its slow and needs oil and water like a bit%$

  • The ports in the cylinder walls will create the same problems with ring failure that 2-strokes have.

  • I wonder what bsfc this engine reaches.

  • Very interesting and very cool. I can see it being a great choice for a generator motor since long periods of use would constitute high fuel consumption. A six stroke engine would be of benefit. I wonder if it runs cooler since there are fewer power cycles.

  • Sie lernen auch junge Heuschrecke!

  • why don't people understand tuning down to much hurts fuel con. and the output of crap into the air also the fact is putting a 4 stroke in a car then you tune it down you get low power lots of weight and tons of inefficiency while a 2 stroke in a car semi tuned up is the same power in half scale package and if you messed with it a bit more up to 1.5 times the power in half the size

  • why you dont make 2 stroke ? why 4 stroke+ 2 stroke?

  • it takes too long to have an ignition, four strokes already suffer from that, so I dont think thats practical.

  • @fangus503 this would be ideal for an experiment with brown's gas (HHO, 2 parts hydrogen 1 part oxygen) Experimentors have already made the jump to running normal combustion engine's on 100% hho from on demand electrolysis, but the demand in power and space for the units are to high for most vehicles, giving the size of traditional engines. We need less space for engine of eqaul power just like this!

  • Idk, so many extra parts that use extra force to move. I guess it shares the same properties as a supercharger. How much more power does it put out compared to a normal engine of similar size?
