For every rotation of the Rotor the eccentric shaft rotates 3 times. So the rotors are only spinning at 1/3 of the speed indicated by the tach.

@kiteLe06 Most domestic v8s will easily rev up to 7-7500 from the factory before they start reaching a point of mass wear and tear. It wouldnt surprise me if a factory rotary turned 10k all day long seeing as how they operate.

Uh yeah. Trust me you can run rx7s on the red line but there is a redline for a reason. You are doing more damage than good. Most rx7 make all their power before the redline anyways. You might as well shift, and get pulling in the next gear. Unless you just wanna be another 7 wondering why its losing races...
