It was an Epic moment in concert history. There was lighting during the song. Then it started to sprinkle during the song (crowd yells at :56) then on Ann's last note "Love" it started raining hard (but can't see it here) & then you see at 6:45ish on the bands finishing note it came down full pour. My daughters and I stood there arms up in amazement. Then about two minutes after the band left the stage the rain stopped for the rest of the night. Def Leppard then rocked the house!

nothing was more epic than seeing heart 1985-1987 total glam and fascination never matched by ANYONE not even heart.

I am so happy I was there! I went to see Heart... Not a Def Leppard fan at all.... By far, the most amazing and magical thing I've ever seen. The Rock and Roll gods were definitely looking down on us that night!!!

Heart literally puts their soul lies deep in the core of their music. This is a fucking SUPERNATURAL performance! Ann and Nancy are my heroes now, and always will be.

I deeply regret not being there, but when that freak thundershower hit at my home, it was a gorgeous blessing from nature. We simply don't get that type of weather in the Bay Area more than once in a great while, and certainly not in September. Driving home from work under our typically crystal-clear blue skies and seeing a thunderhead in the distance, I thought "it will rain somewhere". Truly odd - but then again, Ann and Nancy are magical, so is it all that strange? :-)

Ann Wilson demanded mother nature to make it "reign" and it did..it poured haha.

ann wilson is like some medieval sorceress who has magical arts in regard to music.
love to see heart and their music is timeless. when def lepperd came out then it felt like 80s nostalgia for middle aged men.
ann is the last major woman of rock left who has that powerful, late 60s, early 70s aura that is projected on stage. janis is dead and grace slick is completely retired. ann is the only one left ( not that there were very many to begin with.)

I was there! It was incredible!!!!! And it was the ONLY time it rained all night. I especially liked the thunder and lighting after they left the stage. Amazing special effects ladies!
So glad you posted this video!
I have watched this over and over...and read an amazing review written by another fan in the audience. Ann truly is magical. Thank you so much for sharing this video!

A friend of mine nearby watched the storm from her balcony and said the storm literally seemed to hover over Shoreline for quite a while.
