  • Ive got another question too. In this video where its playing with the box. Was it programed to do those steps? Or was it controlled by you in real time?

  • @12dart12 What robot are you referring to? A-Pod is remote controlled to carry the box. Phoenix manipulate the box using predefined motion.

  • @ZentaOlbaid A-Pod, i mean is it controlled in real time? Like RC or was it programed to do those steps eg, walk forward, open jaw, grab box. If you know what i mean.

  • @12dart12 Real time, like RC. Using a custom made remote controller. Check out my first workshop video and you'll get the picture ;-)

  • This looks like something you would buy from a store and build.... Its amazing! How much did this cost to build and would you ever consider making this a kit for people to buy? Or release the documents on how to build and code one like this?

  • @12dart12 Visit Lynxmotion, they are soon going to sell it as a kit..

  • Dayum science, you scary!

  • do you plan to create any autonomous features? it would be real kick ass if A-pod thought it was a dog :D

  • Some people want this for war purposes.

  • Nice

  • no distance sensors for autonomous walking?

  • Super size this thing and attach Gatling guns to its face

  • dayum man this is awesome! the movements are so smooth which is very hard with a mechanical device ofcourse, im sure you've been asked this a lot but did you ever think of trying to market these to a factory or something? sorry if i worded that funny but you get my drift :P i know theres a load of people who would buy one of these :)

  • @ZentaOlbaid hello would you be kine enough to send me the dimentions of the mandibles? i would like to cunstruct a set to use as a gripper on a robotic arm i have

  • I wanted to build a robot and was looking for inspiration...now I don't want to build one any more because it will never be this awesome!! AMAZING WORK!
