when that old bloke was cracking on about war a fight for a survival, america under attack by depraved enemies who opposed every interest and hate every value hold dear. sounded like he was talking about the current crop and past crop of politicians.

I bet i could win an election if i scared enought people into voting for me to. Fear is a powerful emotion and a strong motive. This does not inspire us, give us hope, or touch upon any of the problems. that would require less funding, time, and effort to correct. This is low brow, tantamount to to hitler scaring the people by raging against the communists and the jews and how they would destroy germany.
Replace enemies with jews and america with germany and see how just how close this comes.
