@MJDarkPrince I know this is an old comment, but word for word it's exactly what I thought of my dog, whose name is Rocky as well.. I honestly thought he was a Basenji/Shepherd. If you look at my channel, you'll see him.

Haha! Sooo cute! My dog does the same thing. She loves to "rough house." Lol and I also use the protective sleeve-over-the-hand technique. Play or no play, those teeth can be sharp!

STROKEDP - Spotted tongue is indicative of a chow mix somewhere down the line. THE CD is terh greatest breed, so long as it doesn't get thinned out with every other weaker blood dog by being "Domesticated". Keep your dingo a dingo, and they will stay the greatest dogs on the planet. Shhhhh keep them a secret!

This IS a Carolina dog, and I would advise that you read on Pack creatures, because it is essential that you exert your Alpha status with your friend. You will be rewarded regularly with just a fairly frequent reminder of who is the boss. If you are not he will be the boss, then Cesar Milano will even have a hard time! The slaps are not abuse. It is what they understand, watch how their mothers dicipline them, but you only have to stare usually to scold, ignore, Make it go downstairs to punish.

This looks just like my dog, Rocky. We thought he was a basenji mixed with a German Shepherd, but recently I discovered he looks just like these Carolina dogs. It's uncanny.

We thought the exact same thing! Until one day a guy at the dog park metioned she looked like a "Carolina Dog" so we looked it up, and WOW!!! we recently got her a little German Shephard puppy...and a new house with a yard! She loves it!
