This test is the most precise out of all the tests. I recommend using this test on my website.

I've had a 10 gallon tank set up for about two months. I've been doing weekly water tests and partial changes. However, my pH and Ammonia levels have slowly risen to 7.6 and 4ppm respectively. However I have NEVER gotten a reading above 0ppm for either Nitrites or Nitrates. The water also is crystal clear and the fish seem happy & healthy despite the odd readings. Is that normal or is something going wrong?
I have 2 Dwarf Gouramis, 5 Serpae Tetra, and 1 Otocinclus.

You shake it for 5 seconds you silly cow. Plus you're supposed to hold the bottle vertically to get even drops.
