Tell Me Why - Chapter 18

Sorry i haven't posted in a while,And i was ill yesterday so i didn't post,
So i'm soo sorry about that! :)

*Lindsay's P.O.V*
Yesterday could of been the worst day of my life. Kevin hates me, Danielle hates me.
Everything is messed up! I need to go home. I layed on my bed alone, I leaned on my right
Elbow turning to my bed drawers; looking at a picture of me and Kevin, Tears formed in
My eyes; just the thought of how close we were slowly deteriating.
I just wish he could open up his eyes and see how much I truly love him.
There was knock on the door, I slowly got up and opened the door. I saw Kevin standing there.
"Uhh hey" He said awkwardly, "Uhh hi" I said with just as much awkwardness in my voice.
"I'm sorry about earlier,I was a jerk for treating you like that" He said sweetly.I weak
smiled at him and gave him a hug."So am i" I said. He parted from me and looked at me,
"What do you mean?" He asked."It don't matter" I said giving him a slight smile.
We sat on the end of my bed and talked for a while."I'm sorry about Danielle" He said,
"It's fine,honestly .. i mean its not like i'm your girlfriend .. i mean she's your girlfriend so
i totally understand why if she's jealous." I tried to make it not obvious that i liked him.
"Ermm .. yeah .. about Danielle,We kinda broke up"He said looking down at his hands.
"What?!,When?!" I asked,"Well i didn't like the way she was treating you,and you made me
realize that friendships do come before relationships 'cause when i break up with a girl
i know that you will always be there for me" He said.I just wanted to tell him right there,That
i am and have been since this cruise totally and completly in love with him. Kevin looked up into
my eyes and i stared back into his,It was like the world stopped,Something was ... different?
He started to edge closer,I could feel his warm breathe against my face,my palms began to get
sweaty,I got butterflies. Am i about to kiss the boy i'm totally in love with?, The boy thats been
my best friend for nearly my whole life.
Our lips connected .. it felt so ... right?, It felt like sparks were flying all over the place.
We both slowly parted,"I'm sorry" Kevin said looking away."Kevin .." I said,He looked at me and i
kissed his lips softly. I smiled at him and he smiled back at me.We both decided to lay on my
bed and watch a movie. Nick and Joe called for Kevin and we all went to get ready.
It was nice to know that Kevin and i made up .. and who knows what the future may hold for us.

*Megan P.O.V*
We hung out around the pool for the rest of the day and Nick seemed down all day,"Hey Nick"
I said,"Yeah?" He said turning to me."You okay?"I asked him,"Yeah,why?"He asked back."Just
wondering" I said smiling at him. "Hey erm will you be coming back to join everyone later?"He
asked me."Yeah, maybe we could hang out when i get back from hanging with Luke and after
you and everyone have had dinner?"I asked him."Sure!,Sounds great" He said smiling.
I didn't want to just ditch Nick now that i like Luke and have started hanging out with him.
We all went back to our room's to get ready."So where is Luke taking you?" Hayley asked me.
"I don't know yet,He hasn't told me" I said shouting through the door from the bathroom.
"Ermm Megan .. we need to talk" She said. I walked out of the bathroom dressed with a towel
around my head. "Sure" I said. "Well .. you know how i said Nick didn't like you back ..."

;o Ohhh myy will Hayley tell her the truth?!
How will Megan and Luke's date go?
What will happen later that night when Nick and Megan hang out?
