It's a great idea, it is the best way to work out, because the energy is not wasted as heat and friction but put back into the grid.

I was thinking about this 2 days ago, that maybe while people are watching TV they can do an excersize that hooks up to a car battery, then they can stick that charged battery in their car to save money on electricity.

Isn't this what everybody is thinking about while being on one of those crosstrainers? I know I do. That's the first thing that came to mind when I first got on one of those things. We're being used as hamsters!! :P
