  • I have danced in the best of the best house parties the loft, garage, ozone layer just to name a few. And house music will never die, iam 47 years old and i can still do the dame thing. Because house music dancing is in your bones its in your feet it is a feeling, with grace mixed with tap, jazz, kunf-fu, gymnastic, and any other dance you can name. I was dancing house music in the 80"s it was alot of fun. For you young dudes keep house music fun, feed off of each other energy.

  • No these guys are great but they are not the originators. I know there is much controversy on the subject but the real originators are in their 50's. Like myself. I was a dancer a the Loft and the Paradise Garage way back in the late 70's and 80's. This is where the controversial term "House" is hotly debated. We were dancing this way while most of the nation thought that John Travolta and "Saturday Night Fever" were the ultimate thing in dance.they were late. We were the underground,

  • @blaze909 70s Chicago Movement? Frankie Knuckles brought what Levan was doing in NY to the Chi. And both Levan and Knuckles were checking what Pete DJ Jones was doing. Greg Charmichael, Leroy Burgess, Levan, Knuckles,Patrick Adams, Shep Petitbone, Tom Moulton were all from NY. The makers of the records that Chi DJs were playing. Philly should get a serious look, because w/o Philly International where would we be.

  • Wow, I was expecting to see some old school dancers but at 0:29 my brother shows up. He goes by TenofQUAD and we grew up in Hawaii (notice his aloha shirt?). He's definitely not one of the originators of house dancing but has introduced me to some people/mentors much further up in the historic lineage. @pluggedin2u knows what's up. Sick vid though.

  • The track at 6:28 is Rasoul - Let Me Love You (from Soul Searching Volume 3) on Large records.

Space, my friend Tenn is in this and as much as I love his dancing, you might consider taking "the originators" comment out of your description. I'm happy that you posted such a good quality version of this from the movie, though. Thanks

  • @1043mommy Much respect to you my brother. I'm 18 right now and I love the whole culture behind House. I did my research and I love it. Its a passion that will never die. Been housing since I was 5 honestly. We'll keep it fun and alive my friend :)

  • @space2think -dj Rasoul let me love you

  • @MrGumbedamit YOU KNOW! :)

  • @pluggedin2u You are right, I was there at the Loft and Paradise. Archie and the guys, back in the day... Spreading that powder now...

  • @kylekinetix "get out of the 80's realm" ? would be the same as ignoring 70's Chicago movement and its great artists. Kerri Chandler, Lil Louie Vega, Doc Martin, Gene Farris, Sneak, Terry Lee Brwon Jr, Tod Terry, Blaze and so on... Just keep your shit to yourself cuz every fkn amateur u tell me there are two house kings to slap 'em in the face. Geez how old r u 12? Fkn mofo kid.

  • sorry guetta kids... THIS is house music at its best!

  • @pluggedin2u - This is what i'm trying to tell people: Im' 53, and while so many of these guys were just born or simply youngsters, I (and others like yourself) were kickin it at NYC clubs; Garage, Loft, LaBamba, Leviticus, Pegasus, Starship.... etc. etc. and I'm STILL breakin it down... poppin, lockin, housedancin and breakin.
