Welcome to Game Dev Dairies!

All through this month I will be documenting the development of my current XNA game project and sharing it on my channel. Today I give a bit of an introduction to the project, and show what I've started out with. This game is being made for XBox Indie Games and uses the Farseer physics engine for 2d physics (at least for now). The progress so far is an open field, with split-screen support and a hacked together sword. Basic enemy AI is up with both straight-chasing enemies as well as leaping enemies. In the future there will also be projectile and other enemies (open to suggestions) but these basic chasing enemies on their own already provide a good amount of variation I can introduce by various subtle parameter changes. Can a mix of Zelda, Crimsonland, and Diablo be fun and be finished within a month by a 1 man team? Only time will tell...
