I don't give a fuck who came up with it...the best falafel and shawarma ive ever had has been from Israelis. And Ive eaten it from many places and countries. Oh, and Jews have been in Israel just as long, if not longer, than the Arabs. About half of Israel's Jews originate from the middle east and Arab countries...and looking at Arab progress (or not) over the last several centuries, I wouldnt be surprised if Jews invented the Felafel in their spare time, while racking up numerous Nobel Prizes.
