A new standard 6.2-liter V8 engine pumping out 411 horsepower, new technologies and a newly available SuperCrew option that gives Raptor customers more choices in cab size all ensure the 2011 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor will remain the off-road performance truck champion in the new model year.

"When we launched the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, consumers were blown away with the capability of the vehicle," said Jost Capito, director of global performance vehicles and motorsports business development. "By adding the SuperCrew, we have expanded the versatility of Raptor, and now even more enthusiasts will be able to experience the no-compromise off-road performance that only Raptor delivers."

The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is the first-ever high-speed off-road performance truck offered by any manufacturer and highlights 33 years of Ford truck sales leadership by emphasizing F-150's Built Ford Tough durability, innovation and engineering. Developed with the DNA of an off-road pre-runner, comprehensive modifications focused on chassis and suspension enhancements.

The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is 7 inches wider than a base F-150 to make room for the additional suspension components that give Raptor its unparalleled off-road abilities. The wider stance also gives the truck an aggressive appearance. Internal triple-bypass shocks by FOX Racing Shox - the first on a production truck - provide position-sensitive damping and extra suspension travel for extreme off-roading and a smooth ride on the road

  • I love the truck but I like the name lighting better

  • @222Jacko lol, I sorta took a stab in the dark hahaha

  • My mom just bought one! Tulsa, OK! Burnt orange, but she didnt get the accessory on the back :( i think it looks better with it

  • Love these beast's. So much presence, i've seen a Red one of these in around where i live 8 times. Which is amazing since everyone else in my town has Golf's and Focus's xD.

  • @bohnert9109 why dude? Truck dudes love high performance trucks, but more importantly, if you are buying a truck, you usually want 4 wheel drive, otherwise, if you want a little performance car, why take on the extra weight of a truck? I mean, if you want a lil sports car, buy a 'stang, but if you want a truck that you can take absolutely anywhere, buy this bad boy

  • @XxKobeBryantxX24 honest, with a truck with this much power, you're gonna hammer down quite frequently, I know I would. Now, the tank holds 26 gallons, which is in between my truck and durango (32 gallon and 22 gallon respectively, or thereabouts), so I'd figure filling it up would cost around 100 dollars or so and get you at least around 300 miles, not 300 kms

  • @XxKobeBryantxX24 I gotta call bullshit on that, I mean, I own a Durango which costs about 80 bucks to full up now and my powerstroke costs me about 140 to fill up, but it will last for about 400 miles. Asking around on a couple Ford truck forums I'm on, they claim about 14 mpg or so if you got one of the earlier ones where you could get the 3.73, but I think all of they new 6.2s runt he 4.10s, and people with those say around 10-12. And you have to figure maybe a 2-4 mpg drop, because, let's be
