The Arabian Horse Show Championships 2008

Miss South Carolina, Kat, Charlie, Arabian Lover, and our trainer went to the Arabian Horse Show Championships of 2008 on 2/24/08, the day before the final day of the competition. Charlie created the video, and also lost her camcorder somewhere..so until then, you will have to love her crazy and blurry and sideways photography slideshow with Carrie Underwood's 'Crazy Dreams' music (because it may be a crazy dream, but competing there one day can happen if you own an arab!)

Can somebody give me any advice. I own a arabian and I would love to show her when I get her trained up better. Does anybody have any information on showing and where shows are located. Please be nice. I have shown in little schooling shows with my horse that just died but now that I want to show my new horse I need help with getting info together.

Wow! I wish you the best of luck with your gelding! I want to come to the next one for a few days maybe.

Its amazing there. All the horses and riders are so talented. I wish I had a better camera at the time so desperately. I take photography and most of these, IMO, aren't very good and I always wish getting great shots on my fancy camera..

I AM COMPETING AT SCOTTSDALE THIS YEAR!!! been goign to it for the past 4 years, but just to watch!!! SOOO EXCITED!! 20 more days till i show there, and the arena at home is flooded....hehe I still gotta practice my dressage!

I show arabs. wherever you live there's a aha region.. google arabian horse association or arabian horse association and the state you live in. THat'll give you websites for your region and stuff.

or just google barns you know and see if they have any shows. Another place to look if you're into dressage is state dressage society. For example- Oregon Dressage Society

I wish I had an Arabian. I used to have a registered half-arab, and she was a beautiful girl. And her bloodlines were quit impressive as well :)

i own and show a arabian but my trainer does all the show entering. try talking to a arabian trainer and look for shows close to your home that should prob get you started. :)
