I have always been a huge bicycle fan, building as many variations as possible since I was a kid. Then, later in life, I realized that encouraging people out of vehicles and onto bicycles was not only good for them, it was also a benefit for me. Pedal powered items are a great idea in theory but getting people to use them can be a bit tricky. So my idea is to get people onto bicycles by way of a very basic human trait -- ego. Kids of any age can appreciate something that looks good and appreciate it even more if it's theirs. Hence, My Bad.....

  • Nice bike.

But why not add a 49cc motor very cheap i'd be tired in 5 min.

What do you sell for i would love to put a 4 cycle motor on.

  • @gavinr9speed - I can tell by your command of the English language that you are probably a master bike builder so I appreciate your constructive criticism. I am also impressed that you can tell that the frame is too small by watching a small video. Good job buddy!

  • @essexisbest mindless zombies trying to eat through your brain - well, as always support you followers, and ignore haters, who, as always, will be hating, peace man

  • @robobear510 - Wish I could be as optimistic as you. You wouldn't believe how many comments I have deleted just because somebody is trying to start something. I wish they could all end this way!

  • @essexisbest se how we handled this, like gentleman, internet is starting to change, see how the word thanks affected the communication in a positive upbeat

  • @robobear510 - Thanks for commenting back again. And I hear what you're saying. Funny part is when I built this (and yes, I built the whole thing) I didn't know for sure if it would even work. Nobody else that I knew of was doing the wide tires at the time. So it was sort of meant for show rather than go (it`s been in 2 major car shows). It is actually quite rideable though. I will try something with a motor at some point. This one was just meant to have pedals though.

    Cheers!

  • @essexisbest well.. sorry people tend to comment stuff on youtube the way they see things.. I understand buidling stuff for fun.. well.. yeah, ok sorry, that's a good enough explanation.. I would suggest one thing, put up an electric motor on it and make it e-bike chopper, I built and e-bike from a kit, so I understand the building for fun thing, and your skills are actually impressive if you built the whole thing, but I think you only need to make it functional and have a higher functionality

  • @robobear510 - Why take the time to type all that out just to bitch about something that is built for fun. I get so sick of people who come on here just to rant pointless rants. I built something for fun, something to make people smile and just for something to do. IT"S A BICYCLE CHOPPER, not a dam Harley. Have a little fun in life and get over yourself. Oh, and thanks for the comments!

  • "gas tank for added chopper realism" ..

And "I don't like anything on the handlebars"

I mean this is a bit pointless, but who asked me..

Anyway, things should be built for function not for looks only, this is probably not driveable, and the brake is something that has a potential fail point - what if you need to react quickly and the pedal is just in the way..

You're a grown man, I see how a kid would be fascinated, what the phuck.. I'll try and understand people better next time..

  • @oklacityg - I might have to try building a beach cruiser of some type. I think that would be a hoot. I decided to buy one as I just wanted something for everyday riding. Good luck on your build(s)! And thanks for the comments!
