The tiny Central Pacific nation of Kiribati will be among those first affected by the twin effects of climate change and sea level rise. It's people have been described as "the most vulnerable of the vulnerable."
An eloquent and powerful presentation of what this small nation is facing, as its culture, lifestyle, and very sovereignty is under threat.
An appeal to the World & COP 15 from those most affected - the Government & people of Kiribati.

Kiribati president needs to look into fixing situation by imitating Dubai, in that he buys/rents a ship to rebuild the island where errosion is hitting..get some ROWPU's (Reverse Osmosis) to purify salt water to fresh drinkable, use all those empty containers all over Betio to build a man made damm..

@one14561 no the reason why is because they're not willing to sacrifice all the technology they have been using. Global warming is an unavoidable natural effect that has been occuring since the last Ice Age, but it is TRUE without doubt that greenhouse gases (a type of gas the atmosphere absorbs and emits as radiation) that humans have been emitting has sped up this process of natural global warming. Conspiracy theorists like you are a disappointment to humanity.

THE reason why all big nations don't agreed with 80% decrease of man made/greenhouse gas is because they'd known tat its a pack of lies, watch THE GREAT GLOBAL WARMING. i.e greenhouse gases doesn't make friends with global warming/climate change...lols.
