Bachmann S4 and FA2- Ho scale

These are the new offerings from Bachmann equipped with DCC/Snd (Soundtrax).
Very smooth runners , we had the FA-2 crawl around this layout (it only 6 foot x 4 foot) and it took 10 minutes and didnt stall at all. Compensates very well for the steep gradients. Impressive offerings. The sound is good but of course it isnt a full blown sound card, but is very good value for the money.

The FA's are nice I was at the local train shop and I bough one (EL) and got 2 others (PRR) on layaway. I was thinking about getting matching B units for them and a WM S4 (or if they come out with PRR S4). I hope they bring more (which I think they will) in the "sound value" lines.

@Electrotract I found a manual an it doesn't have CVs for manual notching or at less not the PAs.

@Electrotract No I mean does it have a manual nothing on so you can make it sound like it's working hard or taking it easy regardless of speed.

@LycoValleyRRFan they engine does step up in sound intensity as you accelerate and vice versa for stepping down.

@Electrotract oh i see well i hiope they offer it soon..wow thts a good price..i mean u can't beat tht for sound and DCC engines...u know i like the full sound but what i really want is the quality engine sound..and if i can get the same sound for a lesser price i am cool with tht..3 horns to chose from is limited but i guess if they added more it would be a bit more...but thank you for telling me about it..i got alot to think on now..oh thts great..i hope to see them in more of ur cool vid's!!
