  • The way Earthquake affected people afraid of their cracked walls & roofs to be falling on them are sitting under the open sky in the chilled cold, similarly the US investors afraid of declining economy are not investing any more in the collapsed US financial crisis scared of their investments to distort in the suicide economy, thus making the US economy balloon burst altogether. 3:54 And (the unbelievers) plotted and planned, and Allah too planned, and the best of planners is Allah.

  • Bill Richardson, the next President of the United States. VOTE FOR SANITY IN 2008!

  • Approximately 85% of the support staff are women at the UNM Hospital. These employees deserve a living wage! Governor Richardson please help the support staff at UNM Hospital. Your current constituents in New Mexico deserve your help with this critical wage issue!

  • Mine too. debsaypie, and wawbwc nobody is telling you who to vote for and/or pointing you to a link...so please don't try to discredit an honorable man. I'M STILL VOTING FOR RICHARDSON...CHANGE AND EXPERIENCE. Who else has that? Huh?

  • The support staff employees at University of New Mexico hospital deserve a living wage. As you well know, the hospital administration gives themselves over $150,000 in bonuses twice a year and then offer the employees (whose wage is $7 per hour) 28 cents an hour raise. The expansion of the hospital called the Bill and Barbara Richardson Pavilion is a glorious tribute ..don't let your name be on the lips of the support staff saying, "he was too busy to be concerned with us!" Do the right thing!

  • He has my full & unwavering support!

  • According to the Forbes 400, the 25 richest Americans total net worth is $387.5 Billion. The next 25 push that to $500B. I haven't taken the time to sum the full 400, but I don't think it would be too far off from the $1T mark.

In any case, even if I were off by a factor of 10, these people are not paying 50% of the Nations taxes. Not even close. You don't get to be that rich by giving all your money away in taxes.

  • I'll admit to pulling that particular figure out of my butt. But the richest chunk of the population does pay the majority of the taxes, you don't have to take my word for this.

I wonder what the top 1/2 of 1% is worth. I think that figure of yours came from a similar place as the one I used.

    .

  • (that should read "1/2", not "1.2". My bad)

"The top 1/2 of 1% pays 50% of the taxes"??? Who told you that, the GOP? That's absurd. The IRS collects apx $2 Trillion each year. The *combined total assets* of the top 1/2 of 1% doesn't come close to $1 Trillion. You're delusional. That tiny minority pays the lowest per capita in taxes than any other group.

  • He's going to come in second in Iowa.

    Watch.
