This is the complete version of Illuminations, Reflections of Earth from Epcot. I had to edit out a small portion in the middle to get it down to the 10 minute limit. Many people watch this for the fireworks, but to me the fire barge at the beginning is most amazing. You can feel the heat from the fire all around the World Showcase lagoon. Also the music is incredible and is in perfect sync with the fireworks, fountains, and fire. Enjoy.

Shot in 1080p HD with a Panasonic GH1. This was shot on two different days with different lenses. The first part was shot with a 50mm Nikon F1.8 lens. the second was shot with a Panasonic 14-140 mm stock lens. It is hard to film this all with one lens in manual mode, because the fire at the beginning requires much narrower aperture and very low ISO, otherwise it will be overexposed (this video is even somewhat overexposed in parts). Other parts of the show requires wider aperture and a little higher ISO.

  • Great video, in what part of Epcot did you film this?

  • @colitasqueen Thanks! I believe it was around Germany. Somewhere in the southeast part of world showcase lagoon.

  • Great quality video, camera must be top of the line. Good low light shot.

  • @dwelty1970 Thank you!

  • I LOVE the two ducks at the intro, just sitting there eating or whatever they are doing. Meanwhile, the towering inferno in the middle of the lake is going to turn them into crispy duck.

  • @Eve777adam when i read this i laughed my ass off..good observation haha

  • I was across the lake too! which fireworks are better? I must ask epcot or disney

  • @bigbodlover agree about the f4. The 14-45 is F3.5. The 20 mm pancake lens at F1.8 is the best in low light, but no zoom.

  • @Ralph123x that is very good quality of the 14-140 here, though i was abit disappointed with panasonic giving widest aperture f4, as most 18-200mm lens has f3.5. So it's great that you had 2 lenses.

  • @bigbodlover Starting from about 3:17 through the end. That lens is great for this show, b/c you can zoom very close as well as very wide. The show is bright enough to capture with a slower lens. Unfortunately I kept moving the camera during the show opening with that lens, so I had to re-shoot the opening.
