Why wouldn't I call it Christmas? They are Christmas lights, it's a Christmas song...

Actually, because of animated lighting, no one strand is on at the same time, versus a static display, where all strands and lights are on at once; so since all the lights aren't always on, it's usually not as bad as you would think

True, but the system is still on even when the lights are off. Something has to know when to turn on and turn off the lights.
