My final year project. A simple control system consisting of a light, temperature, humidity sensors and controls via relays. After this video I added a bigger relay to connect a heater and a humidifier. A better GUI was also added. I will try making a new video and post it.

  • how did u do the humidifying the air bit?

  • @mh06069206 In the video, I had a tin box with ice cubes in it and a fan at the end which pushes air through the box. This was a crude method, but later I hooked up a humidifier which was controlled by a 120VAC/5VDC control relay.

  • Nice Degree project. Do you know any sites where i can get help to program my Parallax BS2 to simulate a Ground Proximity Warning System? Having a tough time cause i never learned to Program. I'm integrating the ultrasonic Sensor, with LCD, and Piezo speaker but dont know how to program it so they all can talk to each other so perform the simulation. Plz help! Thx

  • @Carlosaero22 Thanks for the comment. I found that the forums on the Parallax website were very helpful. If you try searching by the type of sensor you are using, there might be some projects already posted.

  • i am trying this for my fyp. but i got a problem i need to make the compartment temperature 0'c to 50'c. u think what type of system can i use?

  • @nikuyu I used a smaller housing which is better to control and used a computer fan to blow cold air through tubes into the system. Initially I tried Peltier coolers but they were very inefficient to control the temperature rapidly. Let me know if this helps. I also show the cooling system in this video.

  • @SoulNutrition i have a similar project, we are not permitted to use AC, DC Supply only? we have limited budget, we are trying to do the humidfying air but without using expensive humidifyer or ice cubes? any other suggestions? also for heating temperature, we are using spring coil wires, but how could that be close around the fan?

  • @SoulNutrition i am trying it.. try and error first ^^

    thx

  • Thank you for posting this. I am going to try something similar.
