@SparxTrey Its acually because you running the game at a seriously low resolution. That can make a difference by 10-20 frames.

I am not sure why you all are having problems. My card is a 3870 and I run a 4800+ x2 (OCed to 3.0) processor. The issue may be a Nvidia card on a AMD board since AMD and ATI are the same company they tend to run bettery together in my experience. Also I keep my system very clean no extras booting and no peer to peer programs installed at all (EX limewire, Torrents, Etc...) Those always will cause software problems.

hi, Im going to buy a Q6600 2,4ghz, 2gb of ram and an Ati radeon 3870, do you think it will be enough to play crysis at 1024x724? and by the way, at this resolution is the 9600GT better?

Well I use the 3870 so i dont know about the 9600 and on 1024*768 you can see how well it does. About 20-30 frames depending on whats going on. that is on high settings not very high.
