@orangeblossom03 i think it added a nice touch they should have made one round with the percussions and the second one without to make a transition to what followed

I've noticed that in the sydney as well. Don't they make sure everybody hears and know their cues? What's the point of doing it if it's not spot on? You can't speed up and slow down. You've got to remain consistent.
-
Yes! I feel the exact same way.
The original and Black Mages version were good. But this has to be done "right"
-
I read an interview on Nobuo Uematsu's home page where he talked about this performance and said the organ player made mistakes during Dancing Mad.

@elsephi yeah you can hear in this part of the video but even more in the second part that the guy doing this recording is WAAAAY too close to the percussion section. Ruins what would be a truly awesome recording. I'd do anything to get a professional recording of this performance.
-
@angierre you and me both. This song, the epilogue, cyan's theme, and Forever Rachel, and a few others that were on Grand Finale but over embellished upon to the point where they may as well not even be playing the song anymore.

lol for those who complain about the organ, remember that is a concert hall, and the recording of the whole thing is based in the distance between the orchestra , organ and recorder, it sounds a little off tempo because of the acoustics . but actually is on tempo its just that the recorder is too far from the organ.
i agree the organ was horrible, their performance at sydney with a real organ was far better. too bad theres no cd-version of that yet to be found.

I dont know who the f this orcastra is but they keep butchering it at 1:43 to just over 2:00, you dont need all that slamming of fking brass it's mainly harmonics and voice with pipe organ played, I can fking barly hear what is suppose to come out with what you've got played
