I must be having a bad night; when I listened to this, I burst into tears, as it brought back some bitter-sweet memories of happier times when I was in Primary School. I want to be a child again. I miss my childhood, and those carefree times. Tears are running down my face as I write this...

@RetroGirl1974 I know. That was a bad night when I first listened to the picture box theme. Suddenly I was all depressed. Times were simpler then. The world's gone mad. Kids programs are definately not the same as "when I were a lad".

Crumbs, I never wanted to sound like my grandad or my parents, but I fear that they were right when they say "things were different back then". I still feel sad. I can't wait for my second childhood!! P'raps it's already here...

Bloody hell that really took me back, must be 40 years ago watching this in junior school. The world seemed like a great big adventure waiting to be discovered, 40 years later been there done that now wish I could go back in time when things were more simpler

I remember this from 1972 to 1974 in Primary school.Sitting on wooden floor aged about five.Everyone smiling as kids with the rest of the seventies still to come yet.pleasant thoughts. now i am 44 sat at a desk all day getting older and greyier.life doesnt begin at 40 it begins when ur 3,4 or 5 maybe in my eyes

God this takes me back to being 3 years old in the 80s, that music creeps me out, yet it is strangely hypnotic and takes me back to a time where the sun seemed to shine forever, climbing trees and playing sports games with friends, just being a child..Youth is wasted on the young, even though I am only 27...You want to be a grown up when your a child so nobody can tell you what to do, but then you remember the age of innocence.. If only quantam psychics allowed us to go literally back in time.
