Harkening back to the glorious baritone days of Warren, Bruson, and Cappuccilli, if not quite Gobbi (or maybe not yet). I am very impressed by the uniqueness of delivery, the sustaind power and authority. Superb! I hope Rucker will not exhaust his voice too early, as we saw with Alagna.

I've heard this guy live with Baltimore opera, and was in the chorus. He not only has a huge and beautifully produced voice but he's a gentlemen and was willing to talk about technique. A great representitive for the art form.
