I have a saiga that im in the process of converting, and was wondering if your barrel had notches in it to accept the pins or not for the front sight. I purchased the dinzag sight as well, but my existing sight block is pressed on, and does not have any pins that I can see. I'm assuming i have to drill the holes in the new sight block, and make some micro notches in the barrel to allow the pins to pass thru, in order to keep it in place. any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the vid!

@Shellshock1918 One of those cheap home depot clip on lights, the ones with the silver metal hoods, work pretty well. Also try keeping the camera stationary and move the gun instead, should help the camera focus. Cheap cameras need a lot of light and can't change focus quickly enough.
Its a beauty! Got any videos of it shooting?

@YoungLionDethrone Then I would have called it an "arsenal saiga: a closer look"
If you bothered to notice, the gas block does not have a bayonet lug. All arsenal saigas have a military gas block installed, which was a bayonet lug.

@CPLBSS88 At the time I did this conversion K-Var was out of those and couldn't give me an ETA when new ones would arrive.
