This video shows Christian Redl setting a new world record for variable weight freediving under ice with a depth of 62.2m on 02/12/2011 at the Weissensee in Austria.
Sorry for the jerky picture towards the end. The cold was taking its toll and I couldn´t suppress the shivering after standing still for a quarter of an hour.
I guess this goes quite some way to show you what Christian was going through as he had to endure the "rather mild" temperatures in the water ;).
The video was shot with a Panasonic DMC-TZ10.
