Spider plants are super easy care houseplants , that produce many offsets of baby spider plants.
Growing new plants is easy and doesn't require much work.

CHLOROPHYTUM comosum 'Milky Way' Spider Plant

Variegated Airplane Plant, Spider Plant

Beautiful, arching, grass-like leaves with white media. Attractive in hanging baskets, mixed planters, and garden edging. Produces flowers and plantlets on long, arching runners (airplanes).

Zone 9, most areas can grow as a annual or it does really well as a houseplant. I have this in my back patio near a window, if you look close you can see the tons of runner plants. These runner plants will become new plants for sale this season.

It is a easy to care for plant , and the best quality of it is it gives you continious plants.

Happy Gardening

  • Why are your spider babies' leaves so good and shiny compared to my plant's babies and how much time does it usually take for a spider plant baby to grow and produce more babies?

  • @CheeseXEmo I don't know I give them water from my fish tank, maybe this helps.. how long gosh I am not sure I haven't ever really wrote that done.. this depends on the care of the plant..such as water needs, location, etc, I know right now I am making lots of new babies , I have so many .. hopefully will be selling some when the weather warms up..:)

  • This is a great video, following your instructions and it worked, spiderplants are among one of my favorites. They are great to have around!

  • @twhiteartist , wonderful glad it helped..

  • @djmikeeyb , wait till roots have established and the plants looks to be doing quite well..

  • Thanks for the video, really helpful and interesting. Have one baby plant growing from the mother plant and did not know what to do until viewed this. Think I will pot whilst still attached to the mother plant as only 2 weeks developed and roots are small. At what point do you cut from the main plant?

  • @CheesyCheetah , maybe a change of your water , and are you fertilizing by chance.. ? don't let them get too dry also, and you can trim the brown tips if you feel you need too.. hope this helps!

  • I have one has lots of babies but the leaves on the motherplant at the tips are starting to turn brown. Is there some way to stop the tips from browning you know of?
