@nekomajin20 That's not a half-bad idea: he could really go to town with it, using today's technology. Maybe a TV series?

In this room,it's filled with the most brilliance of magic. It will have houdini in awe,Copperfield green with envy and even Criss Angel and David Blaine with be in complete confusion,for you see this room is an incredible imagery of the deepest dreams and most vivid imaginations.....so the question is; do you dare to enter?

ya cant remake a classic

@MarieTheKokiri i agree on all the things you said. as for the CG thing, Im getting tired of it, For example, the 1982 version of "The Thing" was way more creepy with the animatronics or whatever you want to call them, then todays remake version with the CG effects

@nekomajin20 Earlier today, a friend of mine said the same thing about the recently-announced Blade Runner follow-up he's supposedly going to be directing. While I'm pretty sure Ridley will treat it right whatever the story is, a "side story" would be great, just as you say it would be for Legend.

@dogstar79936 Far from it. :)
Hmmm...I don't know if a remake would work. First of all, the original has such a profound cult film following. I don't think it would be the same without the original cast, I mean, David Bennet got a award for playing Gump. And let's not forget the amazing Tim Curry or Mia Sarah.
Personally I'm a fan of prostetics over CG. There's a sense of illusion intermingled with reality in prostetics and makeup that CG just can't compete with. CG is overused in today's movies anyways.
Just my thoughts

The magic could conitnue if Ridley Scott would make not (God forbid) a remake, or a sequel, but instead, a different story set in the same universe.
