Komatsu Utility have unveiled the ARION HYBRID, the new battery forklift vehicle which is the world's first forklift to utilize a capacitor/hybrid combination. The environmentally friendly forklift incorporates further innovative features of electric vehicles.

The large amount of energy regenerated during its operation is recovered and stored effectively in the capacitor. The effective use of the vehicle battery with a secondary power source contributes significantly to cutting CO2 emissions and conserving energy. The vehicle can operate for up to 10 hours on a single charge, and the Arion maintains full power up to an 80 percent battery discharge level.
