The Supreme Court has ruled that Atheism must be considered a Religion in order to come under court authority for first amendment protection, by the first amendment law. You don't use logic or rationale in your argument. Atheists don't have a specific belief system, a cosmology, or "grip" on reality. I'm an atheist who is a libertarian likes the philosophical tenets of Buddhism. I have a friend who is atheist and thinks Buddhism is a bunch of "hipster crap", and is a neoconservative republican. All atheism is is simply the rejection of the existence of a supernatural being; it's not a culture or strain of philosophy. Get your facts straight.

Atheism is just as much a religion as bald is a hair color. We the atheists do not follow a common dogma as religions do. What is the definition of religion? Please, try to figure out an answer to that question and you will see that atheism and religions have nothing in common.

i am sorry, but i really don't understand your definition of "god", do we believe in an invisible sky wizard, no, that is why we are an atheist. now, if YOU define god as someones "reality", sure, i believe in god by YOUR definition.

But YOUR definition, is not THE definition, if god only defined as a pencil, then sure, i believe in him, if God is defined as a mystical wizard in space, then no.
