Full version of The Last Remnant PC on 2 9800GX2s in Quad SLI. Full specs at the end of the video. The game itself is surprisingly good. Try it for yourself, don't take the reviewer's word. I almost missed out on this title because of IGN's ridiculously low score. It's not amazing by any means, I'd put it slightly above Final Fantasy XII (hated that game) but it is definitely not as good as some of the classics (i.e. FFVII, FFVIII).

  • Oh how I hate these kind of games. You spend hours and hours plowing through the quests and monsters and no matter how intuitive they claim the game to be you end up needing that one piece of item or that skill that you needed to get several areas before hand.

This game finally turned me off RPGs and anything else like it completely, thanks Last Remnant!

  • lol no, that comment was left forever ago. WoW bored me after I hit 68 I gave up. Only fun thing to do in that game was pvp and that bored me after a while.

  • eww , dude if u left aoc to play wow u need to come back & check out life after 1.05 .. its nice :)

  • I'll have to check that out then. I already gave up and just play WoW now though lol.

  • I wouldn't say so. I have 350gb of PC games currently installed and just a few of them don't like SLI, and the few that don't, are older games that run great with just a single GPU. Can't say about Age of Conan though. With a little of googling other ppl are using AFR2, and get fps from 25 to 40, so it should give nice boost o.O

  • Meh, they're great for some games. But any game that doesn't support SLI and my whole system fails. Age of Conan runs like a laggy piece of shit at any settings with this setup. If you're thinking about upgrading, never go SLI...ever. Was the worst mistake I ever made. I suggest you get a really really good single card (no dual GPU tricks).

  • Actually I discovered that my stuttering was caused by some conflict between nHancer and nvidia control panel settings. Turned nHancer off and now I get constant 60fps with some minor drops on large battles. And for the rename thingy, it isn't required on 180 and newer, I just thought it was needed because I had the stutter problem. So you're fine running it without any tricks :) I hope I too had GPU's like yours :D

  • I think I was using a form of 181 at the time of this video, but I use the newest beta driver now. I think its 185 point something. I was unaware you had to rename an exe to enable SLI, so I'm probably running with a single GPU =\

Gonna have to look into that one. Do you still get the stuttering problem with SLI off?

  • What SLI mode are you using? I'm on 182.50, and have to use exe rename to get SLI even to work. But i have just 9600GT SLI, and get some stutter on maxed 1920 x 1080. The stutter seems to be SLI problem though, because I get it on lowest too.

  • LOL, I'm the original Killjoy, don't deny it. XD
