  • I was in this concert last night and spent 10k for 2 tickets. It was worth it. I will tell you why - so many new revelations on Charice on this concert.

    1) before she sang mostly david foster songs, etc. but this night, the george canseco/tagalog medley was very good. she sang many new Pilipino songs so well, parang she practiced a long time.

    2) she also clowned alot and knew how to get people interested.

    3) her showbiz side is showing more, just look at her choice of outfits!

  • towards the end, the pinoy audience showed their appreciation, but very few gave her a standing oviation. I just felt let down: Charice gets standing oviations in vegas and in italy, why not in Manila?

but i guess Pinoys have a different way of showing affection and applause. i was waiting for the crowd to stand up, it was weird if i was the only one. i guess its just a cultural thing. pinoys dont really stand up regardless of who is performing . so its cool

  • thank you so much for sharing this vid. I am totally captivated by Charice. I am happy for her and proud of her. I do hope someday our countrymen would give her the respect and appreciation she deserves. she's really the best in generation.

  • i guess the equivalent standing ovation for PINOYS is how high the hands rise above the heads while clapping, don't you think so?

  • its normal in filipino the so-called " ENVY" its not that filipino were hard to pleased, its just that they were not used to do it...and they cant accept the fact that this lil girl could perform a song like that :-)

  • she looks really like a foreign artist here...love it :-)

so sophisticated as well as her voice!!!

  • Wanna bet if someone Yells FIRE this people will be STANDING in no time!!!

    LMFAO

  • Charice darling stop wasting your time and energy having concert in the Philippines if these "bleep" will not stand up for you to give applause, come here in Toronto and we will do our DUE DILIGENCE as a proper Audience for you honey because you deserve it. FILIPINOS sometimes Crab Mentality

  • I don't mean to be rude on the Filipinos in Manila but seriously what the hell is your problem giving this girl a standing ovation. So used to listening to Regine back in the day that your ears don't recognize talent anymore.

  • @ xanderguillard

I will tell you why she doesn't get a 100% standing ovation in Manila, it's the People itself. It's either people are too lazy to get up or people there are just plain hard to please, seriously I watch filipino daytime show sometimes on my friends cable here in North America and I find it so corny for some shows to even be on TV and yet people in the philippines are happy to watch them. Now I know why Charice says it's better to perform in front of the Foreigners.

  • tang iiiii... may dislike.... bistayin ka kaya ... parang wala lang...

  • She's singing the Kat McPhee version.
