  • Why don't you mention anything about how gameplay output is all distorted?

  • What do you mean distorted?

  • You can't see it? The aspect is too wide.

A PSP's screen aspect is 16:9 (or 1.77777:1). Gameplay video out when the PSP is set to 16:9 video out mode is about 2.09:1.

Everything is too wide/stretched and distorted.

  • It's not wide or stretched it's actually boxed because they don't stretch the image.

  • No I don't see it.

  • What do you mean distorted?

  • Wow put the tv on psp on your tv you already have that has cable! lol

    good vid 5/5

  • Does your TV have a zoom function?

  • I won Both thouse Games

  • just wondering if you've played vice city or liberty city stories for the ps2. I'm wondering do the cables give you a better picture than those games? because those games look and play terribly on the ps2. low fps and it's just not down scaled. or up scaled. or w/e it just looks kinda messy.

  • Based on this video, it looks like it outputs things in 480p with black bars on the top and bottom. When this is shown on a wide screen tv, the tv then adds bars on the sides. Most tv's, or at least mine, have an option to zoom in on such videos maintaining aspect ratio.

  • You have Syphon Filter, right? When you pause the game and go to the objectives screen, you can see the agency symbol on the left behind the text or whatever.

Check out what it looks like on the PSP screen (round), and then what it looks like on your TV. It'll be more oval like, with respect to the let and right (stretched outwards that way).

It's as simple as measuring the output on your TV, dude. It's not 16:9. So it's distorted.

Gabe Logan looks fat and wide on the TV compared to the PSP

  • No, it's stretched. What kind of boxing are you talking about? Letterboxing, pillarboxing, or... all sides boxing?
