MaxDiecipezzi, yes, the vocal sample is from "Song of Sophia" by DCD. Lisa Gerrard's permission wasn't sought, but when she was asked about the lift in an interview, she said that she took it as a great compliment.

I love the sound of the drifting synth over most of this track. It reminds me of many Bedrock tracks. If the style has a name, someone please let me know! I've always just called it "damn good music", personally.
