The mighty J 611 visits Asheville, NC and is going to take passengers from Asheville to Grenville, SC via the Saluda Grade. We catch her as she is leaving the Asheville yard.

  • I LOVE THE N&W J CLASS #611 AND I WOULD LIKE TO GET ONE BUT IV HAD A FEW BAD EXPERIRNCES WITH THE MODERN LIONEL SETS AND IT DIDNT HELP WITH LIONELS CUSTORMER SERVICE BEING A BIG -10 FOR A RATEING WHEN TRYING TO GET THE ISSUE FIX IN A TIMELY MATTER AND THATS WHY IV HELD BACK FROM BUYING A BIG PRICE TAG ENGINE LIKE THIS ONE HERE AND JUST STAYED WITH LIONEL PREWAR AND POSTWAR SETS WHICH I THINK ARE GREAT SETS TO HAVE AND RUN BUT MAYBE ONEDAY IL GIVEIN AND BUY A NEW OR NEWER LIONEL J CLASS #611

  • @grizzleybearz282004 I agree you would think the modern engines would run right..I've had to send a bunch of mine back for repairs. That's the mains reason I've taken a break from buying a new engine...for the price you pay you would thing they would run and operate like a Swiss Watch!!

  • Where could I find one gOod price or cheap?

  • @littleevan99 I'd try Ebay or Trainz dot com

  • Wow, an actual set of the engine itself? That makes two of us. Plus several passenger cars. I sort of remember getting this train set , when I was little.

  • @Railroadtrip445 There are two on ebay Matt! Thought I would let you know.

  • @Bassfanatic94 No I wish they would make a Legacy model of this engine, and yes it's TMCC one of my favorite locomotives, and my Southern PS-4's

  • @LionelKid18 that is astonishing! I guess its so high because of the high quality sounds and detail. This is TMCC right? I don't think they ever made a Legacy model of this.

  • @SouthernRR4501 oh come now, both are beautiful in their own way, along with the beautiful Santa Fe F3. They're all so different and all so incredible.

  • Behold! Train god #611!
